Javelin is a literary and creative agency located in Alexandria, Virginia that offers representation, digital, and public relations services. The agency has been profiled by Washingtonian magazine and mentioned in numerous outlets, including The New York Times, Politico Magazine and the Associated Press. It is known for representing political figures, historians and journalists and producing national best-selling books, as well as negotiating television and media deals for its clients.
In May 2017, Javelin represented Fox News political commentator Tucker Carlson in an eight-figure, two-book deal with Simon & Schuster's Threshold Editions. History
Javelin was founded as a literary agency and public relations firm in Arlington County, Virginia in 2011 by Keith Urbahn and Matt Latimer. Javelin moved to its current location in "Old Town," the historic center of Alexandria, Virginia, in 2014 and has since expanded into other areas of communications and creative consulting to include digital media, app design and development, and video production.

Keith Urbahn is the president and a founding partner of Javelin. He previously worked for Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld for five years, most recently serving as his chief of staff. He also worked in the U.S. Senate as a Pentagon speechwriter for Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale University and serves as a commissioned reserve intelligence officer in the United States Navy. Urbahn is often credited as the person who broke the news of Osama bin Laden's death. On May 1, 2011, he tweeted, "So I'm told by a reputable person they have killed Osama Bin Laden. Hot damn."
Matt Latimer is a founding partner of Javelin. He is also the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir, Speech-less: Tales of a White House Survivor, which he wrote after serving as deputy director of speechwriting to President George W. Bush. Before his time in the White House, Latimer was chief speechwriter to Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld. Additionally, he served as a senior communications staffer to Senator Mitch McConnell and to Senator Jon Kyl. Latimer earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, a master's from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.

Among Javelin's digital products was the design and development of Churchill Solitaire, a bestselling mobile app, released in partnership with the Churchill family and Donald Rumsfeld.
